4 P51B aircraft schemes, depicting artwork designed and painted by crew chief/staff Seargent Donald E Allen, widely regarded as one of the premier "Nose Artists" of the WWII era. "ILL Wind" flown by - 1st Lieutenant Nicholas "Cowboy" Megura 334th FG 4th FG April 1944. "Miss Dallas" flown by -Captain Victor France 334th FS 4th FS 4th FG. "Shanghri La" flown by American ace Don Gentile 336th fs 4th FG March 1944.He crashed this aircraft whilst "beating up" his own airfield. Another Don Allen classic from the 334th fighter squadron "Salem Representative" flown by flying Officer Ralph "Kidd" Hofer.
